Did you know there are about 196.9 million square miles around the globe? That’s what inspired the name 197 Travel. After years of planning trips for our own family—a destination wedding, cruises, getaways, and our sports teams travel - a mom at a tournament said, “I wish we had someone like you.” That simple comment planted the seed.
Year later, while teaching in higher education after experiencing a downsizing in the corporate world, it felt like the perfect moment to take the plunge. The decision was made to help others make the most of millions of miles of endless possibilities, creating experiences that go beyond the ordinary.
